Thank you for your interest in Sandusky/Bayshore KOA...Great Camping, Great Day at KOA! The campground is open May 1 through the end of October. If you have made reservations, please check your confirmation for correct information, especially dates. Rate information for both campsites and park models is available online or by calling our toll-free number: 1-800-562-2486.

CAMPSITE RATES All rates are quoted for one (1) camping unit per site, and two (2) people per unit. There is an additional charge of $4.00 per person per night for extra persons age 13 and older. children 12 years old and under stay free in their parent's unit. Only small 2-4 person tents for children 12 and under will be permitted at no charge when staying on the same site with a paid parent unit. Any additional tents on the same site will be charged additionally a separate no hook-up rate. A local tax is added on all camping. Details can be found on our Rates page. [ back to top ]

PARK MODEL RATES Six (6) people are included in the base rate for 2 and 3 bedroom park models. Four (4) people are included in park cabin rates. Only 3 bedroom units are able to have a maximum of eight (8) total people; extra persons in 3 bedroom units will be charged an additional $10.00 per person per night regardless of age. Sales and bed taxes are added upon registration. A minimum two (2) night stay is required on weekends (Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun). Details can be found on our Rates page. [ back to top ]

GROUP RATES Special rates are offered for organized groups such as church groups, youth groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or camping clubs. Reservations should be made in advance and discussed individually with a reservationist. [ back to top ]

CHECK-IN TIME for campsites: 12:00 noon to 10:00pm
CHECK-OUT TIME for campsites 12:00 noon or before

CHECK-IN TIME for park models: 4:00pm-10:00pm
CHECK-OUT TIME for park models: 11:00am or before

Arrivals before or after the above times are not guaranteed. If you have a reservation and cannot arrive before 10:00pm, please call. This will ensure your campsite or park model will be held for you. Registration closes at 12:00am. [ back to top ]

DISCOUNTS The KOA Value Kard may be used on campsites or park models. KOA Value Kard memberships are available for purchase upon registration. Your KOA Value Kard must be presented upon registration to take advantage of the discount. Discounts are not valid for Cedar Point packages. [ back to top ]

RESERVATIONS To hold a reservation, a deposit of one night's stay per campsite or park model is required. VISA, Master Card, Discover, or American Express are welcome, with the first night's stay automatically charged to your credit card. A personal check or money order will be accepted for holding a reservation. However, it must be received within ten (10) days after making the reservation. Failure to do so will result in a canceled reservation. No personal checks are accepted upon registration as payment of your balance. Reservations should be made at least three to four weeks in advance. No reservation is confirmed without a deposit. Phone reservations are taken at 1-800-562-2486 from 9:00am to 9:00pm daily from March 1 through April 30; from 9:00am to 11:00pm from May 1 through Labor Day, and from 9:00am to 9:00pm through the end of October. CANCELLATIONS are accepted during the above referenced hours. Canceling up to seven (7) days in advance of your arrival for park models and park cabins and 48 hours for campsites will result in a $10.00 charge per park model or campsite canceled; the remainder of your deposit will be returned or credited to your account. If you cancel less than seven (7) days in advance for park models or less than 48 hours for campsites, you will lose your first night's stay deposit per park model or campsite canceled unless the unit is resold at which time only the cancellation service fee is retained. SHOWER AND RESTROOM FACILITIES Our restrooms offer clean, modern facilities, hot showers, and individual dressing areas. There are four shower and restroom facilities on the grounds. [ back to top ]

CAMPGROUND FACILITIES Our large game room has pool tables, video games, a snack bar, camp store, and Internet access. Wireless Internet is available throughout the campgrounds. The game room closes at 1:00am; the camp store remains open 24 hours. We also feature a heated in-ground pool, volleyball and basketball courts, a picnic shelter, playground, shuffle board, activities, picnic table and campfire rings on each site, and firewood for sale in the camp store (we prefer you purchase our wood; burning wood with nails, or pallets is prohibited). PARK MODEL ACCOMMODATIONS A maximum of eight (8) people is able to stay in a 3 bedroom unit, six (6) in a 2 bedroom unit, and four (4) in a park cabin. 2 and 3 bedroom units have a futon in the living room which may be used; however, sheets, blankets, and pillows are not provided for the futon. The 2 and 3 bedroom units have a living room, full kitchen, one private bath with full size tub/shower (the extra shower/restroom facilities on the grounds are also available to guests, since hot water tank capacity is limited). 3 bedroom units are set up with 3 double beds or 1 double bed and 2 sets of single bunk beds. 2 bedroom units are set up with a double bed in each bedroom. Park cabins are set up with 1 double bed and 1 set of single bunk beds in the same room. Park cabins have a small kitchen area and private bathroom with shower. NOTE: A mini park cabin is only equipped with a micro refrigerator, not a full kitchen area. All units have heat, air conditioning, cable television, parking for one vehicle, picnic table, and campfire ring.

PARK MODELS ARE EQUIPPED WITH a stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishes/glasses, can opener, silverware, broom/dustpan, toaster, drip coffee maker, basic pots and pans, paper towels, toilet paper, spatula and large spoon, pillows, blankets, and sheets in the bedrooms. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING bath and kitchen towels, hand soap, dish soap, coffee filters, specialty pots and pans or small appliances, and any extra blankets and pillows you may need. Daily maid service is not provided. If you require fresh linens during your stay, please advise the office staff.

PETS are permitted with guests bringing their own RV. No pets are permitted in park models or when camping in a tent. Pets cannot be tied outside camping units while guests are away. Guests are absolutely required to clean up after their pets. Pets must be on a leash at all times. [ back to top ]

PARKING There is parking for one (1) vehicle per park model or campsite. Additional parking is available near the office area. All vehicles entering the park must register in the office. [ back to top ]
